  • Processing and sale of rare and technical gases

MAIN PRODUCT

Rare and technical gases are essential in various industrial fields and production processes. They are used in:

  • production of goods (transport engineering and metalworking, steelmaking, chemical industry)
  • construction and installation works (welding and metal cutting)
  • food industry
  • medical and cosmetic industry
  • agriculture
  • high-tech industries and science research projects

UMG RT GAS is operator that sells rare and technical gases produced by Zaporizhstal Steel Works, Azovstal Iron and Steel Works. Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol. Our company supplies the following gases:

  •         neon
  •         xenon
  •         krypton
  •         argon
  •         oxygen
  •         nitrogen

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

Rare gases

Neon is an inert, non-toxic, colourless, odourless, and tasteless gas. It is used in the production of plasma screens, LCD screens, for lighting and in laser technologies.

Xenon is a colourless, odourless, and tasteless gas. It is used in the production of lighting equipment (automotive bulbs, halogen lamps) as well as in medicine, electronics, and research and development projects.

Krypton is an inert, non-toxic, colourless, odourless, and tasteless gas. It is used in the production of insulated glass units, fluorescent and incandescent lamps.

TECHNICAL gases

Argon is an inert, non-toxic, odourless and tasteless gas. It is used to create an inert atmosphere for production processes in steelmaking and machine building as well as for welding and metal-cutting, and filling insulated glass units.

Oxygen under normal conditions is a colourless, odourless, and tasteless gas, water-soluble and somewhat heavier than air. It is used in the chemical industry, steelmaking, agriculture, and medicine.

Nitrogen is a colourless, odourless, water-soluble gas. It is the major component of air (78 %), is non-toxic and has low chemical reactivity. The main fields of application for nitrogen are the food industry for food storage; the chemical industry for producing fertilisers; medicines and cosmetics; and, among others, for laser-cutting of metals.
